High Protein Cream Soup
It’s not uncommon to hear that “protein shakes taste too sweet” after surgery.
Here’s a recipe for a high protein cream soup, especially usefully in first week/month post surgery if you’re in need of something more “savory:”
Ingredients:
1/3 cup nonfat dry milk powder (8g protein)
1 teaspoon low sodium chicken or beef bouillon
1 scoop unflavored protein powder (10g protein)
Enough hot water to equal 1 cup.
Directions: Mix well. Eat soup when it’s warm.
