Tucson Medical Center (TMC) has been Tucson’s locally governed nonprofit regional hospital since 1943. It has a sprawling landscape with over 600 beds, and every patient has a private room with a delightful view (either a sun-drenched and desert-landscaped patio, or a vista of mountains and distant horizons). Dr. Monash has personally trained the nursing staff to recognize your needs specific to Bariatric Surgery, and to optimize our communication. Tucson Bariatric and TMC are licensed through the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program. The new surgical tower offers state-of-the-art equipment with some of the most technologically advanced operating suites in the southwestern United States.
