Dr Jeffrey Monash

Dr. Monash is a Board Certified, Advanced Laparoscopic, General and Bariatric Surgeon. He is also certified in both muti port and single-incision robotic surgery using the latest Da Vinci(R) system. He graduated surgical residency from William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan after completing his education at the Wayne State School of Medicine in Detroit. He then continued his surgical training by acquiring a fellowship in Advanced Laparoendoscopic General and Bariatric Surgery at the University of California, Davis Institute.
As a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgeons, the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons, and the Society of Laparoscopic Surgeons, Dr. Monash regularly attends societal surgical symposiums, and strives to provide his patients with the highest quality of the current standards of practice. He has performed over 3000 advanced laparoscopic surgeries, and has established three separate Centers of Excellence in the field of Bariatric Surgery.
Dr. Monash is a proud father of two daughters. He relocated to Tucson in July 2007 and as an outdoor sports enthusiast, he enjoys an active lifestyle including hiking, biking, swimming, and tennis.
