We certainly advocate for using vegetables in place of bread FIRST (think lettuce wrap, cucumber slices, zucchini boats, portabello mushrooms, etc.)

However, we also realize there will be times when you feel you MUST have some starch!

In that case…

Try with sliced turkey, Swiss cheese and mustard or with grilled mushrooms, spinach, and grated Parmesan cheese, or top with cottage cheese and sprinkle with cinnamon. Any high protein topping will do!
